[WDBr Entrevista – Elenco] Madison Lintz (Sophia)

Essa semana batemos um papo super gostoso com a pequena Madison Lintz (Sophia). Conversamos um pouco sobre o final da metade da segunda temporada, sua carreira e sobre o que ela e Addy Miller tem em comum agora! Confira:

WalkingDeadBr: Were you aware of your character’s fate when you started filming the second season?

Madison Lintz: (early in the season)Yes the Producers and creators of the show contacted me and told us(My parents and I) the storyline that they were pursuing——

WDBr: What was your reaction when you found out that Sophia was going to die and become a Walker?

ML: Of course I was sad but truthfully TWD has been a great overall experience for me meeting amazing people that will be my friends for a long time—-like Norman.

WDBr: First, I would like to congratulate you on your brilliant performance as a Walker. You were really believable! Did you have any particular preparation for that moment?

ML: Thank you, You know not really but I can say Michelle McCalren(sp) the director of that episode worked with me that day to help me portray the part and she was GREAT.

WDBr: So now, you and Addy Miller can get together and go hunting Andy Lincoln, being him responsible for the end of your “Dead-lives”! Lol

ML: Hahahahah I love Addy—she and I hang out at conventions.

WDBr: How did you feel when you saw yourself with all that make up and dressed as a Walker? It must have been weird!

ML: Yes I was a bit freaked out—-I will say one thing that happened was when I got in makeup the crew wanted to hide me from the other actors for maximum affect for the scene—-so when I came out of the Barn it would be a good response

WDBr: Did you watch the scene? What was your reaction?

ML: I don’t like to watch myself but I have watched the scene.

WDBr: What was, for you, the hardest moment and your biggest challenge in playing Sophia?

ML: The makeup was somewhat difficult but Greg and Andy worked hard to make it as easy as possible

WDBr: Will Sophia be back on the show at some point? Maybe a flashback showing what happened to her when she got lost?

I would say anything is possible with this show—-A flashback is a possibility

WDBr: Are you still connected to The Walking Dead or are you now looking for a new job on TV?

ML: I’m still connected to the people on the show and 2012 should be an exciting year for me—I have 2 projects coming out (Parental Guidance, After) and hopefully more!!!!

WDBr: Saying good-bye to the cast and crew must have been a really difficult thing. Do you still keep in touch with them?

Yes it was tough but I stay in contact with many of them and after the episode many of them were writing me and calling to tell me good job

WDBr: What are your plans for the future? Do you want to keep acting or would you like to do something else?

ML: I like acting and want to continue doing it. I also like animals a lot like my cat Oliver

Madison Lintz: (no início da temporada) Sim. Os produtores e os criadores da série entraram em contato comigo e nos disseram (a meus pais e a mim) a direção que eles queriam que história seguisse.

WDBr: Qual foi sua reação ao saber que Sophia iria morrer e se transformar em uma Walker?

ML: É claro que eu fiquei triste, mas, para falar a verdade, TWD tem sido uma ótima experiência em geral para que eu conhecesse pessoas maravilhosas que serão meus amigos por muito tempo – como o Norman (Reedus).

WDBr: Primeiro gostaria de parabenizá-la pela sua interpretação como Walker, ficou realmente convincente! Você teve alguma preparação especial para aquele momento?

ML: Obrigada. Sabe, não exatamente, mas eu posso dizer que a Michelle MacLaren, a diretora do episódio, trabalhou comigo naquele dia para me ajudar a representar aquela parte e ela foi ótima.

WDBr: Então agora, você e a Addy Miller podem se juntar e ir assombrar o Andy Lincoln, por ser ele o responsável pelo fim de suas “vidas-mortas”. (Risos)

ML: Hahahahah Eu adoro a Addy — ela e eu ficamos juntas nas convenções.

WDBr: O que você sentiu ao se ver maquiada e vestida como uma walker? Deve ter sido estranho!

ML: Sim, eu fiquei um pouco assustada — Eu vou contar, uma coisa que aconteceu foi que quando eu estava com toda aquela maquiagem, a equipe queria me esconder dos outros atores para ter o máximo de emoção possível na cena — então quando eu saísse do celeiro, teríamos uma boa reação.

WDBr: Você assistiu a cena pronta? Qual foi sua reação?

ML: Eu não gosto de me assistir, mas eu assisti a cena.

WDBr: Qual foi para você o momento mais difícil e o maior desafio na interpretação de Sophia?

ML: A maquiagem foi um pouco difícil, mas o Greg (Nicotero) e o Andy (Schoneberg) trabalharam duro para fazê-la ser o mais fácil possível.

WDBr: Teremos o retorno de Sophia em algum momento na série? Talvez um flashback mostrando o que aconteceu com ela quando se perdeu do grupo?

ML: Eu diria que qualquer coisa é possível nesse programa — um flashback é uma possibilidade.

WDBr: Você ainda está ligada a série The Walking Dead ou já está a procura de novos trabalhos na TV?

ML: Eu ainda estou conectada às pessoas do programa e 2012 deve ser um ano emocionante para mim. — eu tenho 2 projetos saindo (Os filmes Parental Guidance e After, ambos sem nome em português) e tomara que venham mais!

WDBr: A despedida dos seus colegas de elenco deve ter sido um momento difícil, você ainda tem contato com eles?

ML: Sim, foi difícil, mas eu mantenho contato com muitos deles e depois que o episódio foi ao ar muitos me escreveram e me ligaram para me falar “bom trabalho”.

WDBr: Quais são suas perspectivas para o futuro? Quer continuar atuando ou vai dedicar a alguma outra coisa?

ML: Eu gosto de atuar e eu quero continuar fazendo isso. Eu também gosto muito de animais, como meu gato Oliver.
